On the afternoon of April 20, 2015, a delegation led by the company's President Ms. Fan Yan, Deputy General Manager Mr. Chen Baowu, and Mr. Pan Xiangming visited Chaint project for site inspection.Chaintprojectis constructed by CEC in mode of EPC with CEC’s construction qualification. Since the commencement of this project, theleaders at all levelshave attached great importance to this project. With the vigorous leadership of Mr. Pan, the project team has been effectively organized within short period of time; and engineering, procurement, cost control, construction work and project construction application is being executed in a well-planned and organized way. This contract was signed on 18th of November 2014. Due to the tight schedule of the project, the minute after the signing of the contract, the project team has been assigned to site, so that explorationbidding,exploration work have been completed at early stage which has thus saved time and promotedthe follow-up works such asconstruction drawingsdesign, construction drawing review, acceptance of piling foundation, plant floorconcrete constructionwork; and moreover, the quality of construction is satisfactory and the safety of the project has been well controlled.And during the Chinese Spring Festival,the rainyweather and other factors seriously affect the progress of the project. To solve the difficulties encountered, Mr. Pan went to the sitemany times for the project construction application and for problems raised in construction. And with the strong support from the owner as well as subcontractors, CEC has managed to overcome the obstacles and guaranteed the progress of the project.During the visit, CEC’s President Ms. Fan Yan, after listened to the report from the Project Manager about the projectschedule, quality, safetyandcivil construction, andproject construction application, spoke highly of the work done and also requestedthe project team to furtherenhance on-sitemanagement, standardizeeachwork to complete the targetobjective.With the support from the leadership of CEC, the Project team promised that they willfurther strengthenthe quality control andsafetyof civilizationconstruction management; on the premise of ensuring quality and safety, add manpower to catch up with the target schedule; thus to build Chaint Project into a model project with shortest time and best quality, to contribute for acceleratingthe transformation and upgrading of Chaint and expandingCEC’s EPC business.
