8.0 magnitude earthquake hits Wenchuan county, Sichuan province. People there are in extreme danger.
Sichuan people and Hunan people are like brothers. Prayer for every life in disaster area and love dedication echoes in everyone’s bottom heart, which declares that I donate, I donate blood and I shall try everything I can to help my suffering brothers.
When disaster struck, help came from all sides. Immediately after knowing the news,CEC leaders took the lead in donating and convened special meeting right away to deploy the disaster relief donation activities. Leaders of each department also took the initiative in donating and led the employees in act. A long queue came into being in front of the donation box at once. Even other company’s staffs that were on business trip to CEC also contributed money generously. Hundreds of hearts are flying to the quake-hit area. Thousands of warm hands are extending to Sichuan brothers.
CEC whole staffs are caring about disaster-area people deeply, whose hearts are with people there also.
Mr. Li Bin from No.1 Consulting & Engineering Department not only donated at CEC, but also donated at place where he was on business trip. Ms. Yang Weicheng from No.3 Consulting & Engineering Department, after donating 200 yuan through internet, contributed 400 yuan in CEC donation activity without any hesitation. Retired employee Ms. Guo Bing participated in the donation actively too.
CEC employees who were on project site also organized donations actively one after another, for instance, Hunan Xiangfeng Special Paper Project hanged banner and held donation ceremoniously and staffs of No.4 Consulting & Engineering Department at Nine Dragons Paper (Tianjin) Power Plant Project site also dedicated their loving hearts.
By May 16 th 12:00AM, CEC received donation amount of 118,951 yuan in total and handed it to the Red Cross Society of China Hunan Branch to transfer to Sichuan quake victims.
Hereby, CEC express sincere thanks for the whole staff, whose noble sentiment of love without boundaries fully reflected in this disaster relief donation.
