China CEC Engineering Corporation held the Third Session of Third Workers’ Congress on May 28 and 29, 2015. CEC’s worker representatives and all members of CEC’s leading group attended the meeting to discuss the development plan and democratic construction of the company.
According to the agenda, General Manager Chen Zhiming firstly, on behalf of CEC’s leading group, made report on the work of China CEC Engineering Corporation 2014. The report comprehensively summarized the achievement, pointed out the problems in the work objectively, proposed solutions accordingly, and presented the direction of CEC’s work in 2015, which is that much more efforts should be made at a higher level.
Then Chairman Fan Yan made the report on the financial settlement of CEC 2014 and financial budget 2015. CEC’s financial work in 2014 concentrated on the objective and task set forth on the Second Session of the Third Workers’ Congress, guaranteed the healthy development of various undertakings relating to CEC’s reform, and the financial budget implementation is good. Financial budget 2015 is also appropriate. It can meet the overall requirement of Sinolight Corporation and Haisum Co., LTD; serve the purpose of CEC’s work on finding new business growth to be the new engine and transformation development; match with CEC’s development program and is practicable.
Chairman of the Labor Union Pan Xiangming made the report on the work of CEC’s Labor Union 2014, in which summarized the main achievements and work since the Second Session of the Third Workers’ Congress, proposed work plan of Labor Union 2015 and key points in the work as well. The report is in detail and practical while also heartwarming.
At the session, documents such as China CEC Engineering Corporation’s Development Program (2016-2018), Position Responsibility Specification, Provisions on Rewarding the Staff Obtaining the Qualifications Urgently Needed by the Company (revised version), Fire Emergency Plan for the Office Building and Temporary Provisions on Staff Canteen Management are well explained. And group discussions were held afterwards with company’s leaders participated in.
Closing meeting was convened in the morning of May 29. General Manager Chen Zhiming, on behalf of the leading group, made important speech and replied to the advices and suggestions proposed by the worker representatives one by one and made detail explanation also. Chen Zhiming stated that the attended worker representatives fully participated in the management of company’s affairs, proposed many good advices and suggestions centering on the company’s development direction, production and management, internal management, enterprise culture construction and staff’s working and living environment etc., which fully demonstrate their high sense of responsibility and mission; and the company will take those advices and suggestions seriously and solve the problems as soon as possible.
Chen Zhiming raised expectations to the Labor Union’s work in next step, hoping that the Labor Union can play a much more positive role in the company’s work in all areas, promote cultural and ideological progress, comprehensively improve the staff’s quality, guide the staff connect their own career development tightly with the prosperity of the company, enhance their awareness of their position as masters of the company and maintain the company’s harmonious development.
On the closing meeting, all the worker representatives voted by raising hands and passed the resolutions relating to the four reports and documents. After all the agenda have been finished, the session was closed in the grand Internationale.
